JBL Wave Buds 2

The JBL Wave Buds 2 (launched in late 2024/early 2025) are the updated "dot-style" entry-level earbuds in the Wave series. This generation brings a massive feature jump by introducing Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) and a vastly improved microphone system to one of JBL’s most affordable models.

Key Features

• Active Noise Cancelling (ANC): A new addition for the second generation, allowing you to tune out background noise. It includes Smart Ambient technology (Ambient Aware and TalkThru) so you can hear traffic or talk to others without removing the buds.

   

• JBL Pure Bass Sound: Equipped with 8mm dynamic drivers that deliver the signature deep, punchy low-end that JBL is known for.

   

• 4-Microphone System: Upgraded from the previous 2-mic setup, using two microphones per earbud to ensure your voice is clear and background noise is minimized during calls.

   

• Massive Battery Life: Offers up to 40 hours of total playtime (10 hours in the buds + 30 hours in the case) with ANC off. With ANC on, you get approximately 8 hours in the buds.

   

• Multi-Point Connection: Allows you to stay connected to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously (e.g., your phone and your laptop) and switch between them effortlessly.

   

• Durability: The earbuds are rated IP54 (water and dust resistant), while the case is rated IPX2, making them reliable for daily commuting or workouts.
