The JBL Clip 5 (released in mid-2024) is the latest iteration of JBL’s iconic carabiner-style portable speaker. It delivers a surprising amount of power for its size, featuring a redesigned "pro-sound" driver and a significantly more versatile clip.

• Upgraded JBL Pro Sound: Features a more powerful 7W RMS output (up from 5W on the Clip 4) and a larger 1.75-inch driver, resulting in punchier bass and better clarity at high volumes.

   

• Redesigned Integrated Carabiner: The built-in clip has been completely overhauled with a wider opening, making it much easier to hook onto thick backpack straps, belt loops, or gym equipment.

   

• Extended Battery Life: Offers up to 12 hours of playtime on a single charge. It also features Playtime Boost, which can provide an additional 3 hours of playback by optimizing the audio output via the app.

   

• Auracast™ Connectivity: For the first time in the Clip series, you can wirelessly pair two Clip 5s for stereo sound or link it with any other Auracast-enabled JBL speaker for a synchronized party experience.

   

• JBL Portable App Support: Now compatible with the official app, allowing you to customize your sound with a full EQ or choose from several audio presets (Vocal, Chill, Energetic, etc.).

   

• IP67 Waterproof & Dustproof: Fully submersible in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes and completely protected against sand and dirt, making it the ultimate outdoor adventure speaker.
